A customer came to us asking for a solution that would allow them to be protected on their patio and still see the sky. They also complained that their existing patio cover was just too small, and they found it too hot to stay outside very much.
We extended the concrete patio and installed a large Solara adjustable Patio Cover over the full length of their patio area. It covered their hot tub, and patio furniture to protect them from the rain and sun but allowed them the option of opening the louvers so they could see the sky when the weather was nice.
Being able to partially open the roof allowed them to cool their patio by blocking the sun and directing the wind. To enable use during the winter we added patio heaters and this area is now able to be utilized most of the year. We were also able to provide them with beautiful low maintenance Berlin Gardens Patio Furniture.
The home was sold several years later, and the new owners told us the back patio was one of the things they liked best about the home. They had us add to the space by building a custom outdoor kitchen to add to the patio. They spend a lot of time in their outdoor living area!
