Zone Therapy Massage Jets

A great massage isn’t just about the number of jets in a spa. The jet placement, size, and type play a big role in taking care of your muscles.

A jets position determines what muscle group it works on and if it releases any of your muscles trigger points.

The type of jet makes a big difference to your muscles as well. Rotating jets knead your body where as fixed jets apply pressure to the spots that help release muscle soreness and tension.

The zone therapy system was designed by physicians to target jets in the right places, with the right types and jet sizes for the muscle group. This ensures your muscles get the best treatment possible to melt away stress, heal sports injuries, massage sore muscles, and even get a good night’s sleep.

Zones covered vary by spa model and seat configuration.

Northern Exposure Insulation

Northern Exposure is the ultimate hot tub insulation system. This patent pending thermal barrier technology recycles the free heat for more efficient heating and lower energy costs. All four sides of the spas plus the floor are lined with reflective copper material to conserve heat from the spa’s pumps.

BlueMAAX is wrapped between the copper and Thinsulate. BlueMAAX is an eco-friendly insulation made from recycled natural fibers and is treated with a borate solution to prevent the growth of mold/mildew, pest infestation, and fire retardant.

Lastly, the four sides of the spa are insulated with 3M Thinsulate Insulation, the same material utilized in winter clothing.

This method also makes for easier servicing of the spa compared to a full foam insulation.

4 Step Filtration System

Perfect moments deserve perfect, crystal clear water.

The water maintenance of your hot tub is made easy by the exclusive features of AMERICAN WHIRLPOOL’s complete 4 step cleaning and purification system options. Each step further refines your water, keeping your spa functioning properly and your water clean and clear.

Step 1: Weir Door – Breaks the water surface tension and traps debris.

Step 2: First Filter – Removes oil and ultra fine particulates up to 10 microns.

Step 3: Filter Basket – Captures debris before filtering for easy removal.

Step 4: Hot Tub Filter – Oversized filter permits the high flow 1000 gallon per minute intake of water to be cleaned and returned into the hot tub.

On most spas this can be enhanced by adding a CleanZone ozone or CleanZone Ultra ozone & Ultraviolet water sanitation systems.

Factory Installed Options

CleanZone Ozone Generator

The CleanZone water purification system will automatically maintain healthy, crystal clear water while greatly reducing chemical maintenance. CleanZone is a cartridge oxidizer that generates oxygen and cleans your spa water in a similar way to city water treatment facilities.

Note: This reduces the need for chemicals like Chlorine or Bromine but does not eliminate the need for them.
